Child Education
Kids from the street and slums are frequently overlooked by their families, leaving them vulnerable to physical, mental, and sexual abuse, neglect, violence, and exploitation. Providing essential counseling and education is essential to guide them towards a better future. Education has the power to transform our society, and our objective is to ensure that every child receives a fundamental education, while also reintegrating school dropouts back into the educational system.
Child Nutrition
Due to the impact of Covid-19 and subsequent lockdowns, a significant number of underprivileged children have been forced to discontinue their education. In a localized region, we have identified at least 350 children facing this challenge. The primary barrier to their education is the inability to afford essential learning materials and proper guidance due to financial constraints. Your support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
Skills Develeopment
The UIACC Foundation supports underprivileged children in a rural area of West Bengal to continue their education by providing scholarships, education kits, etc. They also work to provide skill development training so that the children can become financially independent.
Women Health
After the lockdown, numerous individuals were unable to afford essential meals. Subsequently, we initiated a program aimed at supplying cooked lunches or dry rations. We conducted weekend visits to various locations such as near the railway station, impoverished areas, bus stand locations, and specific slum areas. During these visits, we distributed meals consisting of rice, lentils, vegetables, and eggs or chicken. Additionally, we distributed dry rations including rice, lentils, soybeans, eggs, and more to sustain them for a week. This endeavor resulted in serving nearly 800-1000 lunch plates per month.
